I have ram that i bought, sitting in my old ibook g4 laptop. I am able to use that ram on my macbook, or is it a totally different piece all together?
They're completely different. The fastest iBooks used DDR-PC2700 RAM, while the MacBooks use DDR2-5300 or higher.
