How do i put pictures from my digital camera to my ibook(mac)?

so i plugged in my camera and it says its conected to my mac but my mac isnt showing it. i opend up image capture and tried to do it that way and its showing that its trying to read it but it cant. i tried plugging in my other digital cameras and they are all doing the same…HELP PLEASE!!!

If your camera is not showing on your MacBook - restart it and it will show up on the desktop. It does happen with some external hardware devices like iPods.

Open iPhoto (if it hasn't automatically) iPhoto should detect the camera and ask to import. It will ask if you want to delete the original photos which means the ones on the camera, just say yes then wait while it imports them - this will take up to 20 seconds to initiate.

The originals on you camera should still be there when you have finished.

alternatively you can make a file on the desktop and drag the photos into that.

    hmm try going to target/walmart/sams and burn the pictures to a disk using the kiosk then try the disk
