    its not uglier in fact it looks better than macbook air. carbon fiber chasis looks much better, u can chose ur color, and voodoo has better specs. if u read the rest my comment u might notice i said that sharp muramasa was thinner (i dont think jobs released macbook air before 2003) so it was never the thinnest and jobs was lying. jobs also says that apple did not compromise performance yet macbook air is the slowest macbook. wudnt u consider him to be lying now?

    not bad except …
    not bad except steve was lying throughout the presentation (like he always does). it is NOT the thinnest laptop ever.
    sharp muramasa was thinner and that was back in 2003. its no longer available tho. also voodoo envy 133 is thinner and has better specs. so there really is no reason to buy a macbook air (unless u want a thin and useless mac)

    so… why would i pay $1799 for that… like what can it do other than not have a cd drive?
    and i dont give a what u dont think i need, cuz i like having one. and i can get a laptop thats actually a of a lot better than that piece of thin crap for $600 less, so wheres the incentive to buy that?

    It’s so thin, you can use it as a murder weapon, or slice bread!
    It’s so thin, it breaks in half just if you look hard enough at it!
    It’s so thin, you can curl it and put it in the garbage can!
    That’s what I would do if I had a MacBook Air.

    gosh that’s so …
    gosh that’s so awesome…but i don’t think i would need it… that’s for luxery.. maybe if i don’t have any other priorities in life like giving job for my tribe and clan.. hehehe.. seriously, the price of that 1,799 can buy a piece of more important things… other than than my beloved husband has bought me a laptop complete with printer last year which i rarely use since we also have a PC.

    Apple is a technologically innovative company. It’s only going to make other companies make thinner computers with built in features such as backlit keyboards, better designs and drive SSD to the point where they’re affordable to most folk. Cant wait till Macworld 2010!

    O come on…. People please quit whinning! This laptop is actually made to carry around for people that actually travel. You really don’t take laptops with you because they are sooo thick. Seriously, why would you need to burn a dvd in an airplane……
