I purposely avoided ALL articles, reviews, keynote speech, blogs, writings on bathroom walls, the Rosetta stone, CNN, NBC, Fox, and The Disney Channel so as not to be influenced by anyone else. I wanted to give you my thoughts AFTER seeing the new laptop IN PERSON.
Overall, I give the new MacBook and MacBook Pro “Bricks” (based on their new manufacturing process) two thumbs up. Stellar machines.

Weeks earlier I had …
Weeks earlier I had to have my macbooks logic board replaced and I did not have an apple store near me. So I took it to a 3rd party shop. And 3 weeks after the logic board replacement Apple had opened a new store near me. And so after the first weeks of opening thats when my macbook had its keyboard issue again. My macbook is one month old now.

Ok I bought my first Apple Product a MacBook in late 2006.
Well I was going to sell it this year to but the new up coming macbook or macbook pro. Because I needed a better graphics card for Motion 3.
Well my macbook started having problems I had to take it in. One week later My Macbook was replaced. I had had the same problem 3 times and they could not fix it because it had a stripped screw.

I’m shocked they lowered the price of the old model at all. But Alfred does give good advice. Don’t be angry that you bought the old model not know the new one was coming. Just be happy with what you got. Maybe Apple will send you some money back like they did with the Iphone.

agree, prices of ordinary 15″ MBP collapsed the day the new 15″ MPp arrived… in just one day it changed from 1700€ to 1200€. Which means a week before you were paying 500€ JUST for Apple. I cant understand why so many people are in love with Apple… Sure their pc’s and gadgets are/look great. But f*ck it, 2Ghz and 2Gb ram anno october 2008 for 1199€ is captain insano!
